About Miss Kuhar!
Hello to all and welcome! I am so excited to begin my journey with you at Normal Park! I am originally from Upstate New York, a little town called Ithaca, where I formed my love for hiking, kayaking, and searching for the best coffee shop around. After graduating from The College at Brockport with my degrees in History and Childhood Inclusive Education I packed up and moved to the first state: Delaware! For two years, I taught in an alternative setting as a 4th/5th grade teacher, STEM teacher, and Math Interventionist. I am currently working on obtaining my Masters in School Leadership through Wilmington University. I just love to learn!
Here are a few of my favorites:
Drink: Iced coffee (especially from Dunkin Donuts!!)
Dessert: Anything involving chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate
Food: Pizza, bagels, Chik-fil-A, Panera
Team: Orioles, Let’s Go O’s!!
Poet: Shel Silverstein
“The bridge will only take you halfway there, to those mysterious lands you long to see. Through gypsy camps and swirling Arab fair, and moonlit woods where unicorns run free. So come and walk awhile with me and share the twisting trails and wondrous worlds I've known. But this bridge will only take you halfway there. The last few steps you have to take alone.”
― Shel Silverstein
